AP High Court Orders Investigation On Chandrababu Naidu Assets

The High Court of Andhra Pradesh asked the CBI and Enforcement Directorate to investigate the assets of former chief minister and Telugu Desam party president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday.

Bench consisting of judges Ghulam Mohammed and Noot Ramamohan Rao gave these orders to the petition filed by YSR Congress Honorary Chairman and Pulivendula MLA YS Vijayamma, on October 17.

"Several people have conspired with Chandrababu Naidu to subvert the system by causing a financial gain for himself and for draining the Treasury of the State. Offences of cheating, criminal breach of trust, corruption, money laundering and several others have done for them, "Vijayamma prayed in the petition.

"It's a public interest that Naidu and other private lenders to consider the first and the CBI and the ED,as the offences are of a national and international nature", the petition said.

The court directed the CBI, SEBI and ED to complete the investigation and submit report independently, within three months.
